The Halcyon Incubator is located at Halcyon House, a one-of-a-kind historic property located in the heart of Georgetown in Washington, D.C. Benjamin Stoddert, the first Secretary of the Navy, built the property in 1787, and its gardens were designed by Pierre L’Enfant, the architect of the nation’s capital. While the property’s historical significance may be grounded in the past, the house was transformed to meet the needs of individuals with audacious ideas to solve 21st century challenges. Halcyon House is located steps away from one of the most vibrant areas in the nation’s capital where students, residents and tourists alike mingle and interact in the shops, galleries, cafes and restaurants.
